Hi, I get the feel that it's a renter's market at present. Is this correct? Rather than organising a furnished apartment via the web sight unseen, I'm thinking of staying in a room with an ensuite at the University for a week or so (arranged before I arrive) while I find somewhere more permanent to live. Is there any risk in doing this, arriving mid-November? Will the real estate agents drive me around to look at apartments or will I be expected to find my own way there? From the ads I've seen I'm expecting to pay around 800-850 pounds per month for a nice, furnished apartment. Being warm is pretty important to me. Does this sound reasonable? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
